Your driver will pick you from the Kitale Mega Center in Kitale town at 6:00 am for Mt Elgon National Park, the short one-hour drive will let you enjoy a vegetation view of the road and upon arrival the true magic of the park reveals.
Mt. Elgon National park is home to the Big Five amongst other wildlife. It is famous for its salt mining elephants that can be seen by the caves of this park digging them up with their tusks and this unique species of elephants can only survive here. Rise up early for breakfast 0600hrs
Depart for the famed Crying stone and learn the beautiful history and legend that surrounds it. It is famous for its ever-crying appearance and the shape of a human being that it has and that is a head and a body. Enjoy the sight as well the stories that will be generously shared to you about how the sight came to be. A 45 mins bull/cockfighting experience will leave adrenaline pumping through your veins.
At 1400hrs enjoy a cultural lunch at Lantana Comfy and depart for the dense jungle like Kakamega Rainforest that has time and again being compared to the forests of the Congo. Here you will be spoilt of choices and due the dense nature if the Forest, an array of primates thrives and they will be visible to you in numbers and some have jokingly said that if you look closely, you might actually see a Gorilla. Birds are also in good numbers here and their uniqueness is what will take your breath away. The Fauna of the forest is also very unique and this provides a nice learning experience and photography is also a welcomed activity
When dusk approaches depart for Uda Campsite for barbeque dinner and overnight

Have breakfast at 0700hrs and depart for the Lake City.
The warm air of the rich Lake Victoria will be your first good morning and from there the mood of the day will be set. Visit the beautiful coastal like beaches of the Lake and indulge in a boat ride where you will choose to go to a modern boat or a cultural dhow. The Takawiri Island will provide the perfect opportunity to partake in water sports like snorkeling and for the watchers this will be a good opportunity to go on a long beach stretch as the warm sand massages your feet.
Enjoy a fish and ugali lunch garnished with kienyeji greens of your own choosing and wash it down with a cold soda.
Enjoy the sight of cosmopolitan city that has also embraced luxury living and from there, depart for a 3km drive to the Impala Sanctuaries where you will see herds of Zebras and Impalas grazing freely in the fields.
After a long day of various activity retire for a refreshing wash and dinner at the campsite.

Iten is a location with a high altitude and hilly terrain and for this, athletes travel from all parts of the world to come and train here. You will have a chance of running with the champions and challenging yourself to achieve that which you thought you would not.
Have lunch at the Boma Inn Hotel located in Eldoret, a 53mins drive and later on enjoy a short city tour of Eldoret and its environs.
Exit Eldoret for Drop off in Kitale town at 1600hrs.
