12 Days/ 11 Nights Kenya Bush and beach Safari itinerary has you starting with the Samburu in the north of the equator where the blue hills to the north melt into the sun burnt plains that surround the green snaking Ewaso ngiro vegetation like a golden skirt.

Continue onto the Masai Mara undisputedly the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth and the ultimate in “Out of Africa” experiences at the Camp. Plains teeming with wildlife, a wilderness so pristine it defies description.

See the country and its wildlife through the eyes of the families who settled this land generations ago.
You will finalise your safari lazing for a few days under the tantalizing east African coast sunshine for a suntan and some R and R.

Day 1:
Arrival

Following your arrival, you will be welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:
Samburu reserve
Driving Distance: 332km (6hrs)
Game Drive Hours: (3hrs)
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Luxury lodge

You will have breakfast and drive to Samburu National Park with lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon. Check in and spend the evening at leisure admiring nature! Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge in Samburu.

Day 3:
Samburu Reserve Game drives
Driving Distance: 190km (full day)
Game Drive Hours: (7-10hrs)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Luxury lodge

After breakfast, you will go for a full day game drive where you might spot animals like the giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.

Day 4:
Samburu Reserve to Lake Nakuru
Driving Distance: 319km (6hr.30min)
Game Drive Hours: (6hrs)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Have breakfast and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you will spend a delightful day exploring the extra ordinary bird life for which Lake Nakuru is internationally renowned. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. Day 5:
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara tour

after breakfast, you will drive to Masai Mara National park. Arrive in time for lunch and in the afternoon, go for a game drive where you may spot animals like the Zebra, Grant’s gazelle and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 6 and 7
Masai Mara Full day game drive

Game Drive Hours: (7-10hrs)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

You will have a 2 full day game drives in search for zebras which are found throughout the park, as well as Masai giraffes and the common giraffe, hippos, warthogs, jackals, hyenas and bat-eared foxes. Numerous antelopes can be found here, including impala, Grant’s, and Thomson’s gazelles, hartebeests and topi. Additionally, over 450 bird species are present in the reserve including vulture, ostrich, the long-crested eagle, pygmy falcon, secretary bird, marabou. In the afternoon you may visit the Masai villages. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 8:
Nairobi – Mombasa
Driving Distance: 280km
Game Drive Hours: (2hrs)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Luxury lodge

Have an early morning game drive, return to lodge for breakfast and depart for Nairobi. You will arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon, have Lunch and then board a train to Mombasa. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 9:
Arrive Mombasa
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Luxury lodge

On arrival you will transferred to the beach where you will relax on your 12 days Kenya safari. Dinner and overnight at the beach.

Day 10:
Leisure at the beach
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Luxury lodge

You will relax at the beach. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 11:
Half Day Mombasa at Leisure – Nairobi
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Luxury lodge

You will depart Mombasa by train or flight back to Nairobi

Day 12:
Arrive Nairobi

On arrival you will transfer to the Airport to board the flight back home with memories of your 12 Days Kenya safari.
